Brief Title:
Communication is a virus…
Response to the self-evaluation process should be posted to
your blog.
As a group what problem did you identify and why (In
response to Drink Tea)
As a group we mis-understood the brief, we came up of a
concept of creating our own tea company with a tea café, and how we would make
it trendier. We had decided that it would be a café in which the customer chose
and made their own flavour of tea. However we had a presentation meeting with
the tutors which it was then brought to our attention we had got it all wrong.
Therefore we went back to think of a new idea which was how we could make
drinking tea go viral and be seen to be a young drink rather than the
stereotypical view of it being for elderly people.
What methods ddi you use to gather your evidence to prove
this was a problem and what forms did it take? (Categorize your research using
terms primary, secondary, quantitative and qualitative)
The majority of the research was secondary research done
through the internet and watching videos on youtube about people being
interviewed about tea. This also gave us peoples opinions on Tea as well.
What methods of research did you find useful and why ?
I found the most interesting research I did was watching the
clips on Youtube because these people on there were passionate about Tea and it
meant something to them so I knew then that it would be the truth.
What research could you have carried out that would have
proved more useful?
We should have made a questionare to give to people about
tea. This would have been more useful because the people we would have asked
would have ranged in age, which in that sense gives you a whole different set
of opinions by all sorts of different people.
How did you manage the workload as part of a group?
As a group I think we worked really well. We did loose
inspiration when our original idea had to be re thought due to us all
contributing and being passionate about it so when we re grouped we assigned
tasks for each person to fulfil. And then when it came to creating the video we
all worked together to make it.
